Theme |
| |
| In
recent years the introduction of risk assessment instruments, programmes
and case management systems has led to an increasing focus on the 'technology'
of working with offenders and an increasing tendency to undervalue the
importance of the individual skills, knowledge and aptitudes of both practitioners
and managers.
The conference
will focus on issues of personal effectiveness in successful human service
organisations using internationally renowned keynote speakers and examples
of successful practice.
|
| |
|
Workshops
will include:
- Suicide
Prediction in the Community
- Working
with Firesetters
- Issues
in working with female offenders
- Working
with Adolescent Male Sex Offenders
- Working
with children and their families
