Education

CCF provides a wide range of training for staff working in both community based and residential educational settings. We have successfully trained staff and supported the implementation of a cognitive behavioural programme in a number of secondary schools. The programme (The Ross Programme) is targeted at pupils who are on the brink of exclusion due to their behaviour.

This is listed below and further information is available by clicking on the ‘tab’ on the left.

Effective Practice Skills

Our work in partnership with Professor Chris Trotter of Monash University, Australia, to develop Pro Social Modelling training is highly regarded throughout the UK and has a significant relevance for staff working in educational settings. We have introduced a ‘training for trainers’ model and other recent developments include the provision of a Family Problem Solving module.

CCF has also hosted a number of highly successful national and international conferences, as well as local seminars on a wide range of ‘effective practice’ themes.
